An Icons8 premium subscription opens one of the largest icon libraries anywhere, drawn in dozens of consistent styles, plus illustrations, photos, music and AI image tools. If you design apps, websites or slide decks, you know the pain of finding one great icon and then failing to find the rest in the same style. That's exactly where Icons8 shines. HeyTools offers cheap Icons8 access with instant activation, through the browser extension or the cloud version on any device.

Why Icons8 is different

Most icon sites aggregate files from many designers, so every icon looks a little different. Icons8's own team draws icons in unified styles such as Fluent, iOS, Material, Color, Line and Glyph, and each style covers largely the same set of concepts. Pick a style for your project and you'll find the cart, user, settings, notification and payment icons all matching in stroke, corners and colour. That consistency saves hours of tweaking and makes a product look polished.

What the paid plan adds

The free tier only lets you download small PNGs and keeps the professional formats locked. A subscription changes that:

• SVG downloads that scale and edit cleanly in Figma or Illustrator.
• Large PNG sizes suitable for print and high-density screens.
• Customise before download: colour, size and padding, then grab the full-quality file.
• Extra formats such as PDF and animated icons in some styles.
• Wider access to illustrations and photos across Icons8's other libraries.

More than icons

Illustrations

Illustration packs in many art styles for landing pages, onboarding screens, error states and marketing emails.

Photos

Photos designed to work together, with isolated backgrounds that drop easily into layouts and decks.

Music

Tracks for video backgrounds and short ads.

AI tools

Background removal, image upscaling and other generation and editing tools on the same platform.

Practical use cases

• Build an entire mobile app UI with icons from a single style, from the tab bar to settings.
• Dress up a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck with clear colour icons for each point.
• Equip an online store with shipping, secure checkout, returns and support icons.
• Produce an Instagram or LinkedIn infographic with matching elements.
• Recolour, resize and adjust padding right on the site before downloading.

Working efficiently

• Choose the style first, then search within it so everything matches.
• Use Collections to gather a project's icons and download them in one go.
• Set the brand colour before downloading.
• If an icon doesn't appear, try English synonyms; each icon has many tags.

Extension plus cloud access

When you buy Icons8 account access from HeyTools, activation is instant and you get two ways in. Use the HeyTools browser extension on Chrome, Edge or Brave on your desktop and open Icons8 from it, or launch the cloud version straight from your HeyTools account with nothing to install, in any modern browser including phones and tablets. Our Arabic-speaking team supports you and replaces access if anything breaks during your subscription. Icons8 is also included in the Designer bundle and the HeyTools bundle.
