Detailed description
What separates an ordinary video from one that feels cinematic is usually the footage: deliberate lighting, smooth camera moves and colors you can grade properly. That is what Artgrid delivers, a library of footage shot by working filmmakers rather than traditional stock shooters. An Artgrid premium subscription from HeyTools lets you download the clips your projects need, with instant activation and a price far below subscribing alone.
Artgrid is part of the Artlist family, best known for music and sound effects, and it's built on a simple idea: ad- and film-grade footage, carefully curated, with unlimited downloads while you're subscribed.
Why video creators choose Artgrid
Footage shot as stories
Instead of isolated clips, Artgrid offers full sequences captured in one session: someone brewing coffee from several angles, or a road trip with wides, close-ups and drone shots. Editing gets much easier because lighting, color and talent stay consistent.
High resolution and raw files for grading
Most clips come in 4K, some higher, and advanced plans include LOG and RAW versions that keep maximum color data, so a colorist can match them to your own footage in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere.
Unlimited downloads
No credits, no per-clip counter. Download what you need and test several options in the edit.
Precise search and filters
Search by subject or mood, then filter by camera, frame rate, resolution and duration to find a shot that fits your edit's rhythm in minutes rather than endless scrolling.
What kind of footage you'll find
- Drone aerials of cities, deserts, seas and landscapes.
- Lifestyle: families, friends, sport, food and real everyday moments.
- Business and tech: offices, meetings, screens, hands on keyboards.
- Travel and cultures: markets, landmarks and people around the world.
- Slow motion and artistic shots for intros and premium ads.
- Nature and weather: sunsets, waves, moving clouds and forests.
Putting it to work
YouTubers use Artgrid for B-roll under voiceover. Agencies build entire client ads from consistent sequences without a shoot day. Documentary makers fill story gaps with landscapes and atmosphere. Store owners create a polished brand film, and real estate marketers in the Gulf lean on its aerials and lifestyle scenes.
Artgrid vs free stock video
Pexels and Pixabay are useful, but their clips are overused and rarely offer cinematic consistency or raw files for grading. Artgrid gives your work a look that tells viewers there was a production budget behind it.
